In his spare time from trying to take over the tri-state area our favorite evil scientist Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz is now trying to take over the "interweb."
Disney's popular "Phineas and Ferb" character has launched a his own Twitter account, twitter.com/DoofDaily, and Web Series on YouTube, youtube.com/user/DoofDaily.
The 13-part web series called "Doof's Daily Dirt" takes us inside the character's more-than-slightly warped perspective of the world. His first one "Actually Useful Internet Acronyms" brings a smile as well as the second webisode "I Can Haz Cat Pictures" is filled with the great asides which are part of the regular show.
The Twitter account is filled with running comments you would expect from the dear doctor:
"Behold the trendinator! It makes u trend.Taking orders now. No forget it, I should probably not share this if I’m trying to take u guys over."
"You know what’s confusing? @ and #. Like a minute ago, you’d wonder why they were even on the phone. Suddenly they mean 5 different things.
He also comments on current pop culture:
"I remember seeing Les Miserables touring company in Druselstein as a boy. It was actually advertised as a children’s comedy there."
Dr. Doofenshmirtz is voiced by Phineas & Ferb co-creator Dan Povenmire. The show airs on the Disney Channel.
