The new Boulangerie Patisserie les Halles at the France Pavilion is open. The bakery is “at least 10 times” larger than the former sweet shop, manager Eric Weistroffer tells the Disney Parks Blog.

The Walt Disney Studios earned 17 Academy Award nominations for this year, including 12 for "Lincoln," and nominations for "Brave," "Frankenweenie," Wreck-It-Ralph," "Paperman" and "The Avengers."

Disney becoming a soccer super power
With a rich assist from Florida taxpayers, Walt Disney World and local sports promoters are hoping to make Orlando a magnet for soccer fans this February, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
Disney and the Central Florida Sports Commission have organized the region's first formal "Soccer Spring Training" program, which will feature six Major League Soccer teams holding preseason camps across Central Florida for 18 days in February. You can get the complete schedule here.
