Muppets, superheroes, pirates and the retelling of a classic Disney movie are some of the films to be released in 2014 and 2015, according to the Disney Post blog.
The Muppets sequel: To be released March 21, 2014, director James Bobin returns and brings a new cast including Ricky Gervais and Ty Burrell.
"Captain America: The Winter Soldier": Scheduled for April 4, 2014, this movie follows Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) from the end of "The Avengers" movie and shows how he struggles to embrace his role in the modern world.

"Guardians of the Galaxy:" To be released August 1, 2014, features a different cast of characters who need to team up to defeat a cosmic force. For a primer on the characters, check out Marvel's own wiki.
"Maleficent:" Due out now on July 7, 2014, this is the untold story of Disney’s most beloved/hated villain from "Sleeping Beauty." The movie is produced by Joe Roth and directed by Robert Stromberg, and stars Angelina Jolie as Maleficent, Sharlto Copley and Elle Fanning.
"1952:" George Clooney stars in this movie out Dec. 19, 2014 about, well no one is really sure other than it's science fiction. Damon Lindelof produces and Brad Bird directs a script by Lindelof about, well no one really knows. Is it about aliens? Is it about an earth invasion? Is it about a mysterious creature hunting people on an island somewhere (oops, been there, done that)?
Pirates of the Caribbean movie Johnny Depp returned as Captain Jack Sparrow for the film due out on July 10, 2015. It’ll be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, and the screenplay is by Jeff Nathanson.
