The Muppets are back -- again

Jason Segel breathed new life into the Muppet franchise in 2011, and Disney isn't about to lose the momentum.

This week Disney christened the sequel, "The Muppets ... Again!"

Due March 21, 2014, the new film will have to make due without Segel and co-star Amy Adams, but it will have plenty of star power, including Tina Fey, Ricky Gervais and Ty Burrell.

Here's how the Hollywood reporter describes the plot: "Mayhem follows the Muppets overseas, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine -- the World’s Number One Criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit -- and his dastardly sidekick Dominic, aka Number Two, portrayed by Ricky Gervais. The film stars Tina Fey as Nadya, a feisty prison guard, and Ty Burrell as Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon."
