The movie's wins included:
- Best animated feature of 2012
- Rich Moore as best director
- Alan Tudyk for voice acting in an animated feature (King Candy)
- Phil Johnston and Jennifer Lee for writing
The short film that played before "Ralph" also was a winner: "The Paperman" took the award for best animated short subject. Incidentally, "The Paperman" debuted online this week; you can see it below.
"Ralph" stomped all over Disney-Pixar's "Brave," which also was nominated for best animated feature, along with "Frankenweenie," "ParaNorman," "Hotel Transylvania," "Rise of the Guardians," "The Pirates! Band of Misfits" and "The Rabbi's Cat."
"Brave" wasn't completely shut out; the film won awards for production design and for editorial content in an animated feature.
The L.A. Times has a complete list of nominees and winners.
