A new Darth Vader figurine will soon be out on the market.
Lucasfilm and JAKKS Pacific, Inc. have agreed to a deal for the toy maker to make and market a 31-inch Darth Vader with his light saber, according to a news release by the companies.
“With a successful track record of bringing popular entertainment properties to life and with a strong passion for the franchise, JAKKS was the perfect licensing partner to enlist as we continue to build our consumer products portfolio forStar Wars,” said Anita Castellar, Global Licensing Manager, Lucasfilm.
JAKKS will debut the figurine at the International Toy Fair in New York City and will be available at major retailers in the Fall 2013.
The agreement also includes rights for additional product categories including flashlights, play tents, and arcade games.
